Our goal was to make sure that homeowners here in Santa Clarita and the surrounding areas had access to plumbers who were responsive and reliable and whose pricing was transparent. As a locally-owned business, our reputation is our lifeblood. We’d rather make a customer happy than try and aggressively sell them something. The first reason is that we’re honest people, and we wouldn’t do that to our neighbors. The second is that it’s just a bad business practice. About Our Owner
John Jacobson is a fourth-generation resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, and our area holds a special place in his heart. As a young man, he spent his free time at the hardware store his grandparents owned. He went on to enter the plumbing trade by working for a pool service and remodel company. He learned the basics of chemical treatment, maintenance, and repairs and was quickly promoted to handle installations.
John was driven by a desire to expand his skills, and he went on to work for an underground utilities company. There, he worked on the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems for entire neighborhoods in Santa Clarita. Later, when he was about to become a father, he reached out to a friend whose family ran a respected plumbing company, and he continued his career growth.
Over the years, he grew from an apprentice into a foreman, always gaining in industry knowledge. He achieved his Plumbing C-36 contractors’ license. Today, the customers of Sewer Inspection Pros are the benefit of all that accumulated experience and wisdom. His core values–honesty, ethics, accountability, transparency, and perseverance–animate our entire organization.
